Amy Morvell is an emerging female contemporary dance artist based in the South East of England. Amy set up her company Morvell Dance in late 2017 with help from Lîla Dance and Arts Council England. With successful Arts Council funding; Amy was able to do research & development for her new work Turtle Dove.
Amy’s work is often inspired by the stories of others and how these stories shape their experiences of living, loving and ageing. Previous works have taken a physical theatre approach with use of text, props, unique scenery combined with a distinctive dance style.
