Youth Dance Company

The Point Youth Dance Company is open to young people
aged between 8 and 18 with a passion for dance and looking for high
quality dance training.
As a member of PYDC you will attend weekly term time
workshops, led by our rehearsal directors, as well as professional
dance artists, that will enable you to develop choreographic
skills, contemporary dance technique and the confidence to
perform.
Each term there will be various opportunities
to perform at The Point and other professional venues,
opportunities to receive training from visiting professional dance
companies, as well as opportunities to watch professional
performances.
As a member of PYDC you get:
- 12 workshops per term led by professional
dance artists
- Professional performance opportunities
- Membership card entitling members to a
variety of discounts
- Opportunities to obtain other training where
possible
- One-off workshops with professional dance
companies
- Gain experience in choreography not just
performance

Sessions take place on
Mondays
8–11 yrs: 5.15 – 6.30pm (£60
per term)
11–14 yrs: 6.30 – 7.45pm (£60
per term)
14–18 yrs: 7.45 – 9.15pm (£65
per term)
