Emerging companySharkLegs are busy working on their first full-length stage production, The Inevitable Heartbreak of Gavin Plimsole, while performing in various locations with puppets, telling enchanting stories to intimate audiences. Now, their extraordinary hard-work has been rewarded with a nomination for the Les Enfants Terribles Award.
Les Enfants Theatre Company has been in business for fourteen years, in that time they have toured extensively around the world and presented work at London’s West End, while supporting the Edinburgh Fringe Festival unquestionably. Now, the company work to support emerging artists too with the Les Enfants Terribles Award.
SharkLegs are delighted to of been honoured with a nomination for the award which, if they win, will grant them with £1000 to put into their production; invaluable mentoring from Les Enfants themselves; and a guaranteed performance slot at The Pleasance Theatre at the Edinburgh Fringe, as well as inimitable support from one of the most prestigious venues at the renowned event. On being honoured with a nomination, the company said:

The showcase is going to be so much fun - especially as we only get 10 minutes to show all the highlights. So far we have squeezed in The Beginning of the universe, a life changing diagnosis, some evolving fish, a proposal, bungee jumping, a break up, open heart surgery and a special guest appearance from God himself - all in only 700 heartbeats (10 minutes).”
