The Tempest

by William Shakespeare

The Point Gap rep Company

Thursday 11th March at 7.30pm

Friday 12th March at 7.30pm

They took away his lands, but they could not take away his power. Now fate and sorcery will conspire to maroon them in his domain. His rules. His revenge. Trapped on an enchanted island with his daughter and some magical books Prospero draws his enemies near to exact his revenge. Will he take his revenge or can his daughter help him find peace and the ability to forgive?

With love, tragedy and comedy beautifully combined, The Point’s Gap Rep company, along with students from local schools take a fresh look at this classic text, using music, movement and puppetry to bring a contemporary version of Shakespeare’s compelling final play.
