Entry: This event is now full. Applications for Year 10 Work Experience (Summer 2021) will open in Autumn 2020.
We are delighted to have adapted our new annual work experience offer to support ten selected Year 10 students to take part in a week’s virtual work experience in which they can creatively explore a variety of different careers in the arts.
Participants will undertake a series of challenges to find out about creative careers paths both in their local arts venues and beyond, culminating in a pitch of their own idea to Industry Experts. Through these activities, participants are also able to complete their Bronze Arts Award through Trinity College London; a Level 1 qualification on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).

Successful artworks will be shared & celebrated through our online platforms via our Connection Point programme.
We welcome responses in sculpture, paintings, performance art, textiles, film, audio, print, drawings, photography and beyond.

This opportunity is available for anyone in Year 10 – Year 13.
Our Creative Learning programme empowers young people to take the first step to their career in the arts. As such, we require that those applying do so themselves; giving them a valuable experience of communicating with potential employers.
We understand that some applicants may need additional support to complete the form and we ask that you make the reasons for this clear within your application.
If you are aged under 18 years, we ask that your parent/guardian completes the last section of the form and is copied in to all correspondence.
Whilst on a general placement with us you will achieve an Arts Award Bronze Qualification.
The activities you take part in will contribute to a written portfolio that we will submit on your behalf. The Bronze Arts Award is a recognised qualification that can be put on your CV for later work or applications.
I really like the idea of working towards a project as well as learning about the theatre and its employees... I have loved working here and would recommend it to anyone, who loves theatre or the arts.
