“You must think me very rude; but all this is so new to me. So - this - is - a - River!”

One summer afternoon in Wild Wood, while the animals sat, ate picnics and played with their friends, a mischievous ‘poop poop’ echoed in the trees...

Join Mole, Ratty and Badger in a floor stomping, live music, hilarious woodland adventure as they save Toad and his shiny new motorcar from deep trouble.

Award-winning theatre company Calf2Cow bring you an utterly charming theatrical experience, and brings Kenneth Grahame’s classic story dramatically to life.

Let's party on down to the river bank!

The event is part of our ‘At the Park’ series and will take place at Itchen Valley Country Park near the Kingfisher Barn. The Woodland Café will be serving hot and cold food, plus a range of hot and cold drinks.

We are asking all audience members to bring their own seating or hire a deckchair as part of their booking. Picnic blankets, or a camping, deckchair or similar are all welcome, if bringing a picnic blanket, please do consider other audiences around you and bring a sensible sized blanket to seat the number in your party.

Babies in arms under 3 years old do not need a ticket.

Please note that this event falls after the expected move to step 4 of the Government’s Covid-19 roadmap and the lifting of lockdown restrictions on 19th July. Should step 4 be delayed beyond the event date, we will be in contact to update with any cancellation news or changes to the event that will impact ticket holders.
