Kenneth Grahame’s classic riverbank tale The Wind in the Willows will be brought beautifully to life outdoors in Itchen Valley Country Park this summer.
One sunny afternoon in Wild Wood, while the animals enjoyed a picnic and played with their friends, a mischievous ‘poop poop’ echoed in the trees... Join Mole, Ratty and Badger on Friday 27 August at 3.30pm as they save Toad and his shiny new motorcar from deep trouble in this hilarious production of the classic woodland adventure, complete with live music.
Award-winning theatre company Calf2Cow bring you an utterly charming theatrical experience, presented by The Point and Itchen Valley Country Park, which are operated by Eastleigh Borough Council, as part of the At the Park series of events.
The production will take place at Itchen Valley Country Park near the Kingfisher Barn. The Woodland Café will serve a range of hot and cold food and drinks.
Audience members are asked to bring their own seating or hire a deckchair as part of their booking. Picnic blankets, or a camping chair, deckchair or similar are all welcome.
The production lasts for one hour 35 minutes. Tickets are priced £12, £10 concessions. Babies in arms under 3 years-old do not need a ticket.
