During our StoryTribe! Saturday sessions of family fun, creative games and interactive storytelling, the imagination roams free. We had a quick chat with Craig Lockwood from Tribe, the group who run the sessions, about what’s in store for you if you pop along.
Craig said: “We like to describe it as a family show as it is not just for children – it entertains everyone including adults, teenagers, whoever. We like to keep it fresh and interesting and we take inspiration from our audiences when we’re improvising on the spot.
“StoryTribe! is not a passive storytelling experience as we invite everyone to get involved and participate, and chuck some ideas at us. But don’t worry, it’s not compulsory to join in. It’s just as much fun to sit and watch if that’s what you would prefer to do.
It’s great fun – just generally a wonderful 45 minute injection of made-up spontaneous joyful adventures!"
The next StoryTribe! session will take place on Saturday 23 April at 11.30am. Tickets cost £5 for adults, £3 concessions.
