Your support matters

Our audiences are at the very heart of our theatres. When closing our doors at the end of March in response to Government guidelines, we were determined not to close the doors on sharing moving experiences. A donation of just £5 will support our powerful work within the community.

Through generous ticket donations you have already helped us to:

  • Run 169 online creative activities from dance to theatre and health & wellbeing with 5,450 attendances from children, young people and adults across our community
  • Enable 151 young people to continue weekly creative classes in a new virtual format
  • Run a drama performance project to support Year 6 and 7 children from seven schools in our Borough supporting children with the transition to secondary school
  • Support Year 10 students to continue their work experience and Bronze Arts Award accreditations virtually
  • Empower two young people to work on a Gold Arts Award accreditation and create events that capture the experiences of young people in lockdown
  • Assist 575 older people facing isolation to receive stories to brighten their day
  • Give 30 community artists a platform to share their work for positive mental health
  • Continue work with 22 training professional dancers in Hampshire Youth Dance Company who have worked with professional artists to create video performances, one of which has been nominated for a national screening
  • And much more…
Please help us if you can by donating £5 as we continue to:
  • Support vulnerable members of our community to access the arts, reduce isolation and improve their quality of life
  • Run our classes and companies for young people and adults to support mental and physical health
  • Give talented young people the support to develop skills for future careers
  • Work with teachers and students to creatively enhance their core curriculum
  • Support professional artists to create new experiences that keep our audiences safe, whilst delivering the magic of live performance.
We can’t wait to be moved together again and are busy adapting and planning for our shared future. We look forward to sharing more news as we work towards our shared future and even more to when we can welcome you back into the theatres.
From the team, our participants and all the artists we work with, a huge thank you.
