Box Office and Digital Sales Officer
Salary £25,000 per annum, 37 hours a week (maternity cover, fixed term until December 2017)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Box Office and Digital Sales Support Officer to join the team at The Point in Eastleigh and The Berry Theatre in Hedge End.
The Point, an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation, and its sister venue The Berry Theatre, are innovative, state-of-the art, world-class venues, offering varied programmes of theatre, dance, aerial, drama, cinema, outdoor festivals, creative learning, community projects and comedy programmes for everyone. This post provides a unique opportunity for a keen individual to gain invaluable and varied experience of working in an Arts Council supported National Portfolio Organisation and be part of a busy, dynamic team working across both venues.
You will provide sales support for the venues including the smooth running of the Box Office, technical support of websites and online sales systems. You will manage the sales infrastructure for major events and campaigns, which will involve interacting and responding to internal and external customers through multiple channels. You will work with your colleagues to improve customer service and opportunities for empowering customers.
To be successful, you will have good working knowledge and experience of digital sales infrastructure, online sales systems and design. Strong IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly and effectively is essential. A proven track record in developing and supporting processes to ensure an easy customer journey both online and offline is desirable.
You will be a self-starter with initiative, strong administrative, analytical and communication skills and experience of online box office systems.

Theatre TechnicianSalary within the range £18,435 - £21,470 a year
We are currently seeking a dedicated technician to join our team working closely with the technicians at our sister venue The Berry Theatre. You will get the opportunity to work on a variety of events with a range of technical equipment.

This is a great opportunity to increase your skills and gain further experience in the technical field.
You must have technical knowledge and experience, ideally within theatre.

Eastleigh Unwrapped returns this summer to once again fill the streets of Eastleigh Town Centre with stunning aerial theatre, circus, interactive performance and live music.
In 2016, over 8,000 people watched in awe at a variety of inspiring performances from some of the most exciting artists and performers in the UK and beyond. This year is set to be even bigger and better and we need your help! We are currently on the look-out for Technical Event Volunteers to get involved in Eastleigh Unwrapped.
If you are interested in helping out with technical support in running live events then we are interested in you.
We are looking for people with a passion for live events and the skills to help them run smoothly. If you have some backstage experience or are interested live performance you could assist our technical team to run the performance stages at Eastleigh Unwrapped. We are on the look-out for people interested in live PA or sound and stage management, although this is not essential.
Eastleigh Unwrapped takes place in Eastleigh town centre on Saturday 17th June 2017 and volunteers will be needed from 8am until 6pm.
