Our packed programme of activities includes regular classes, performance companies, activities to promote wellbeing and a wide range of workshops for all abilities.

Young Companies

The Point, Eastleigh is home to both Hampshire Youth Dance Company and ORB Youth Dance Company. These pre-professional training and performance platforms provide high-quality training and opportunities for aspiring young dancers aged 13-21 years from across the region.

We also have our Young Companies: Point Youth Theatre, Point Ensemble with BearFace Theatre and Point Youth Dance Company, all of which provide the perfect mix of developing skill and growing confidence with making friends and having a fantastic time.

Next Step Dance Company

Next Step Dance Company offers dancers with learning disabilities insight into professional dance training.

The contemporary dance company meet five Sundays a term, to practice contemporary dance technique, explore and develop creativity and work towards both public and on-stage performances.

We also open up our Next Step class for adults with learning disabilities to train in an exciting environment alongside Next Step Dance Company members.

Youth Pathways Fund

Our Youth Pathways Fund is especially for young people aged 5 to 21 who are interested in creative activities but whose circumstances have made it difficult to get involved, or to know where to start.

The Fund helps us to support people both financially and with expert advice and support.

We are very grateful for the generosity of the former 'Arts & Youth Trust for Eastleigh' charity, who have made this Fund possible for young people in our Borough.
