Always building…..
As we enter the autumn, and my seventh season
at The Point, work has already begun on our exciting phase3 development. Its a unique project in which
we hope you will want to get involved
We kick off the season with the Awake project,
a new production in development which features a multi-talented,
international cast and has its only UK preview performance at The
Point. Then national treasure June Whitfield drops in for a chat,
iconic dance company Candoco presents world premieres by Hofesh
Shechter and Nigel Charnock and there are first Point visits from
the brilliant Lone Twin Theatre, Jonathan Burrows & Matteo Fargion,
Rasa Theatre, 2FaCeD DaNcE and Volcano. Then for Christmas we offer our
young people’s theatre in a magical production of the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and the
ever-popular Ukulele Orchestra of Great
Britain.
Meanwhile our Tapenade bar-café has launched a
new menu and continues to offer lunchtime treats for passers by as
well as pre-show snacks and a range of drinks for theatre
customers.
