Inclusive Cinema: Spring 2023 programme

Screenings take place on Tuesdays at 10.30am and they have subtitles and a 20 minute internal. Admission costs £5, which includes a hot drink and a biscuit.

Our inclusive screenings are designed to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for people with Dementia, learning or physical difficulties and their families and carers and are open to all who'd like to join us. The lighting will be a little higher, the sound a little quieter and you can leave the theatre safely at any point with staff on hand to help you.

Tuesday 24 January: Hairspray  

2007 musical romantic comedy film based on the 2002 Broadway musical of the same name, following teenager Tracy Turnblad as she pursues stardom as a dancer on a local television dance show and rallies against racial segregation.

Tuesday 21 February: The Railway Children Return

Follow a group of children who are evacuated to a Yorkshire village during the Second World War, where they encounter a young soldier who, like them, is far away from home.

Tuesday 21 March: Downton Abbey A New Era

The Crawley family goes on a grand journey to the South of France to uncover the mystery of the dowager countess's newly inherited villa.

Tuesday 25 April: Easter Parade

A nightclub performer hires a naive chorus girl to become his new dance partner to make his former partner jealous and to prove he can make any partner a star.

Tuesday 23 May: Elvis

The life of American music icon Elvis Presley, from his childhood to becoming a rock and movie star in the 1950s while maintaining a complex relationship with his manager, Colonel Tom Parker.
