Itchen Valley Country Park Events
The At the Park stage area is adjacent to the Kingfisher Barn and Woodland Café at Itchen Valley Country Park, Allington Lane, West End, SO30 3HQ.
Itchen Valley Country Park is situated just off the A27. Exit the M27 at Junction 5 from the west, or Junction 7 from the east. Follow the brown tourist signs to the Park on the A27 (towards West End) from either direction.
We are giving all bookers staggered entry times to reduce queues and manage social distancing effectively. Please check the information email you will receive in the week of the event to find your allocated entry time and try to arrive as close as possible to this time.
Food and drinks can be pre-ordered or ordered on the night via the link sent to the mobile number of the lead booker, which can be shared and forwarded to other members of the group.
After placing an order via mobile using your credit / debit card details, Apple Pay or Google Pay, please make your way to the bar and show your order confirmation to a member of staff who will prepare your food and drinks for you.
Unfortunately, we are unable to take credit or debit card payments at the bar.
We are happy for attendees to bring their own food and soft drinks, however please do not bring any alcohol not purchased at the event with you.
We are asking audience members not to bring picnic blankets to minimise spreading out and allow for sufficient social distancing. Folding, camping or deckchairs are preferred.
No - parking is included in your ticket price and you will receive a parking permit ahead of the show to print at home which must be displayed in your front windscreen. If you do not have a printer or have not received a permit, please speak to a member of staff who will have a limited supply of spare parking tickets available.
Toilet facilities, including accessible toilets in the Kingfisher Barn will be available to use throughout the event.
The event will still go ahead in light rain or wind, however in the event of severe weather, a Met Office yellow rain warning or wind gusting above 25 mph the Event Controller and Point Technical Manager will make a delay or cancellation call. This call will be made based on health and safety implications of staff and audiences. If possible, ticket holders will be contacted by email/phone in advance and information will go out on website and social media. If the call is made close to the event, a tannoy announcement will be broadcast and event staff will begin the egress process.
We would therefore advise all customers to bring waterproof clothing or ponchos in case of rain. Umbrellas may be used but please be considerate of people sat behind your group and do not bring parasols or gazebos.
All attendees must provide contact details for NHS Test and Trace and we advise people to make sure they have downloaded the NHS Covid-19 Test and Trace app.
Attendees must wear face coverings when using public transport or in enclosed areas as per government guidance on face coverings. Please also wear a face covering and keep a social distance whilst queuing for the bar.
Customers must not attend if they have any symptoms of Covid-19. All attendees will be asked on arrival if they have any symptoms or have been told to self-isolate and will be refused entry if so.
Customers must wash their hands and use hand sanitisers provided on site. These will be available on entry, exit points, ticket desk and BBQ area.
To avoid handling of cash, payments for food and drink can be made via the online link sent to the lead booker’s mobile phone number.
Attendees will be expected to keep to current social distancing rules throughout the event. This will be enforced by marshals and people found to break these rules may be asked to leave the event.
