A force of creativity and fun for young people, led by industry professionals in theatre and dance

It's easy to get involved!

Our Young Companies are Point Youth Theatre, Point Ensemble with BearFace Theatre and Point Youth Dance Company, all of which provide the perfect mix of developing skill and growing confidence with making friends and having a fantastic time.

Each year, young company members will take part in a production or showcase, performing what they've learnt on stage at The Point.

Everyone is welcome on a first come, first served basis - no auditions required!

Young Companies at a glance

Point Youth Theatre

Open to ages 5 - 14

Classes take place on Saturdays between 10am and 5.15pm

Prices from £65 to £75 per term

The Point Youth Theatre offers an exciting way to get involved in performance in a lively, fun and supportive environment, with individual sessions tailored to the age of the group.

Point Ensemble

Open to ages 15 - 18

Classes take place on Mondays from 5.15pm to 6.45pm

Priced at £90 per term

Working with BearFace Theatre, the Point Ensemble is a performing arts company for young people who create their own work. You will make all the key decisions for your performance, researching and developing your ideas and gaining an insight into multiple aspects of the theatre and performing arts industry.

Point Youth Dance Company

Open to ages 12 - 18

Classes take place on Wednesdays between 5pm and 7.45pm

Prices from £80 to £90 per term

Led by professionals from the dance industry, the Point Youth Dance Company provides friendly, encouraging and inspiring contemporary dance training for young people of all experience levels.

The Point Bursary Scheme

The Point Bursary Scheme helps support people aged up to 25 years old to overcome financial barriers to engaging in creative learning with funds generously donated by former local charity Arts & Youth Trust for Eastleigh.

We can help with a bursary to cover 50% or 100% of the cost of your class fees each term, depending on the level of help you require.
