Jaya, a former Kabaddi world champion, is pushed into making a comeback into the sport by her family. However, she first must battle her internal conflicts and the expectations society has of her. Critically acclaimed for its emotional depth and intelligent script, Kangana Ranaut won Best Actress at the National Film Awards of India for her performance in this excellent Hindi-language film.

With support of the BFI, awarding funds from the National Lottery, we’re thrilled to be reopening our cinema with our Films for All programme.

We look forward to welcoming our community back in to our safe and socially distanced auditorium with three cinematic strands: family-friendly favourites; mother and baby-friendly screenings and films celebrating the diversity of South Asian cinema.

Ticket prices have been kept to just £5 to enable as much of our community to take advantage of them as possible and include a hot drink and a biscuit for you to enjoy whilst watching. Family screenings on Saturdays also include a snack box with all children's tickets purchased.
