At The Point and The Berry Theatre, we’re Here for Half Term!
Trick or treat yourself to a boo-rilliant time at our venues this October Half-Term, as we’ve got the pick of the pumpkin patch when it comes to what’s on for families…
Family favourites Stuff and Nonsense Theatre Company make a welcome return to The Point, presenting their new show The Three Little Pigs (Sat 21st Oct). Be blown away in this joyful retelling of a classic tale. Told in the company’s unique physical style with raucous puppets, this is high-octane family theatre that will have you howling!
There’ll be plenty more magical theatre experiences warm your heart and puppets galore at The Point, with The Girl and the Dragon (Thurs 26th Oct), a refreshing and fantastical adventure, and The Crockodogopig (Sat 28th Oct), full of comedy and beatboxing.
To get families into the Halloween spirit, we’re inviting children aged 8-14 the chance to enrol in our Dance Zombies boot camp (Tues 24th – Thurs 26th Oct) – learn the moves, get into character with costumes and make-up and perform for family and friends. StoryTribe also return with their popular Spooktacular Odd Ball (Wed 25th Oct) – games, dancing, spooky storytelling and creepy crafts!
Over at The Berry Theatre prepare to feel the excitement as you come face to face with a T-rex and hear it’s roooooarrrr! Dinosaur Adventure Live (Wed 25th Oct) is an awe-inspiring interactive stage show that will immerse audiences young and young at heart in the enthralling world of Dinosaurs.
And for older theatre fans you’ll be in the edge of your seat, as Conn Artists Theatre Company stage the gripping adaptation of Charles Dickens’ most haunting works, based on his spine-tingling tales in The Haunting (Sat 28th Oct).
