SNUG: some information you may find helpful

Coming to experience our Christmas storyland SNUG? Here’s some information you may find helpful.

SNUG is open every day in The Point’s Studio Theatre until Wednesday 21 December between 10am and 4pm. Storytelling sessions take place from Tuesday – Sunday at 10.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 2.30pm. There are no storytelling sessions on Mondays. Sessions last approx 15-20 minutes. Currently, morning sessions are proving to be very popular.

Buggies can be brought into the venue and placed where you see a ‘buggy park’ sign. During storytelling sessions, the Studio Theatre’s doors will be closed. Shoes are removed whilst in the theatre.

Each storytelling session can accommodate a certain number of people so at busy periods you may have to wait for the next session. While you’re waiting, there are lots of activities around the SNUG space. Pick up some play cards, rustle through leaves 🍂, make a twig hedgehog, size up some pinecones or snuggle up with your loved ones and read a story in the book corner 📖.

Our café bar ☕️ is also open with lots of enticing options for everyone including reindeer hot chocolate sachets to take away. And you can play at your leisure in our atrium, which has sofas and a toy area too.

We also have copies of the SNUG storybook, fox tails and cuddly hedgehogs 🦔, and you can buy your own to take home at our café bar / box office.

After your experience, please let us know what you thought of SNUG – it really does help us with future planning. There’s a recycled feedback tree so you can write your comment and hang it on a label. Pick up a feedback card and follow the QR code. You can also fill in our simple, quick Google form survey.

You can also tag us in your social media using the hashtag #PointSnug - we love seeing your pictures!

SNUG is free of charge to everyone. If you’ve enjoyed it and would like to help us in our quest to create an #EastleighforEveryone, there are donation bird boxes in the space and you can also donate via text or online. Thank you for all of your support – every penny really does count.

If you need assistance at any stage of your SNUG experience, please just ask one of the volunteers. Merry Christmas to all! 🎅
