Itchen Valley Country Park events
The Live at the Park stage area is adjacent to the Kingfisher Barn and Woodland Café at Itchen Valley Country Park, Allington Lane, West End, SO30 3HQ.
Itchen Valley Country Park is situated just off the A27. Exit the M27 at Junction 5 from the west, or Junction 7 from the east. Follow the brown tourist signs to the Park on the A27 (towards West End) from either direction.
Please arrive a little before the start of the show in order to reduce queues and to help our teams manage entry to the site as smoothly as possible.
We are asking all audience members to bring their own seating or hire a deckchair as part of their booking.
Picnic blankets, or a camping, deckchair or similar are all welcome, please check the zone before booking to ensure you bring the right type of seating. Deckchairs can be hired for an additional fee in Zones 3 and 4.
If bringing a picnic blanket, please consider other audiences around you and bring a sensible sized blanket to seat the number in your party.
Suitable clothing and footwear for the weather and outdoor setting
Food and drinks can be bought from the Itchen Valley Country Park Woodland Café on the day.
Payments at the cafe can be made via cash or credit / debit card, excluding American Express.
Attendees may bring their own food and drink, however please ensure all litter is disposed of using bins on site or taken home with you.
Yes, you will also need to pay for parking at the Country Park.
Entry to the country park is free but parking charges apply. Your parking fee helps support the work that Itchen Valley Country Park do. Blue badge holders and motorcycles can park for free.
Daily charges:
Parking is pay and display only - payment by card (contactless/pin), RingGo (by phone/app) or cash.
Up to 1 hour: £1.90
Up to 2 hours: £3.20
Up to 3 hours: £4.20
Up to and over 4 hours: £4.90
Toilet facilities, including accessible toilets in the Kingfisher Barn will be available to use throughout the event.
The event will still go ahead in light rain or wind, however in the event of severe weather, a Met Office yellow rain warning or wind gusting above 25 mph the Event Controller and Point Technical Manager will make a delay or cancellation call. This call will be made based on health and safety implications of staff and audiences. If possible, ticket holders will be contacted by email/phone in advance and information will go out on website and social media. If the call is made close to the event, a tannoy announcement will be broadcast and event staff will begin the egress process.
We would therefore advise all customers to bring waterproof clothing or ponchos in case of rain. Umbrellas may be used but please be considerate of people sat behind your group and do not bring parasols or gazebos.
Tickets are non-refundable except in the case of the event being cancelled, in which case you will be entitled to a full refund to your original payment method or account held with us.
