Crop & Seed Swap
10am - 3pm: on the Garden Stage
This harvest time Wild Hive Collective will be 'popping up' with our Glut Hub stall - to enable local residents to bring and swap any surplus fruit, veg, plants, seeds or local growing advice that they'd like to share.
Donations welcome if you’re not swapping to support Wild Hive Collective’s Changemaker activities and projects aiming to engage, enthuse and enable thriving Green and Growing communities in the Eastleigh area.
Wishing Tree Imaginings
10am - 3pm: on the Garden Stage
Wild Hive Collective will be offering a selection of paper-based crafts to help capture your ‘Imaginings for a Greener, Brighter Future’ for our Wishing Tree. No wishes are too radical in our quest to get your wildest wishes for nature and future generations heard!
This activity is inspired by Transition Network Founder, Rob Hopkins’, ‘From What If to What Next?’ imaginative approach to manifesting change: https://www.robhopkins.net/podcast/
Good to Grow - Seed Saving
10am - 3pm: on the Garden Stage
Wild Hive Collective are passionate about helping more people to grow their own healthy food sustainably for themselves and for wildlife. We’ll be bringing some of our favourite seeds saved from our growing projects to share through our creative take-home activity - helping you to get growing at home and in your community spaces.
Marketplace of Change - Stallholders
10am - 3pm
Our marketplace of change will feature a range of stallholders keen to support Eastleigh’s Green & Growing community and shared Sustainability aims.
Yvonne's Plants: Helping you grow your own fruit, veg and herbs, and bringing a touch of the tropical and exotic to your garden as well.
NoodWood: NoodWood will be with us once again selling their upcycled hand-crafted wooden home/garden wares and bringing their giant Connect 4 and outdoor wooden toys to play with.
Fair Oak Honey: Offering the chance to buy locally produced honey and learn all about bees.
SO Solar Advice: Providing independent advice for homeowners and small businesses on buying solar panels and home battery storage systems.
Eastleigh Community Garden: Discover more about Eastleigh Community Garden and how you can get involved as a volunteer at this thriving hub for nature and wellbeing in the middle of Eastleigh.
Eastleigh Lions Club: Find out what green action the Eastleigh Lions Club are taking in the local area and sign up for their volunteer litter-picking sessions. Come along and support their teddy tombola and share your ideas for small environmental projects that they could help with locally to celebrate their 60th anniversary year.
Eastleigh Lions Club - Litter Pick at 12 noon (meet at their stall)
Join in with the Lions’ litter pick around Leigh Road Recreation Ground and the shopping precinct and see what a difference small local environmental action can have!
Eastleigh Town Council ‘Greening Campaign’: Come along to find out about this hyper-local campaign and how you can get involved! Make a recycled paper pot and sow some cress to take home.
Give and Take Swap Event
10am - 12pm Give / 1pm - 3pm Take
Want to pass on your clothes and other items to loving homes, whilst picking up some second hand gems yourself?
